Lavinia Stamps "Red Pines" panel card

A quick Christmas card from me today.  I masked off an area on a piece of white card.  Within the masked area I blended three shades of Ranger Archival Inks:  Shadow Grey, Paradise Teal and Watering Can.

I then stamped the Lavinia Stamps large and small "Red Pine Trees" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" and "Morning Mist" inks. I then splattered white paint from a fan shaped paint brush to replicate snow. Then removed the masking tape from the card.

I stamped the sentiment, which is part of the new Lavinia Stamps "Christmas Greetings" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

24 Days of Tags with Karen Telfer 2022 - Day one

For the past two years I have taken part in Karen Telfer's "24 Days of Tags challenge".  Today is the first day of the 2022 challenge.  Here is the link to the Day 1 tag.

I've used Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink for the background colour.

I've used both "Twilight" and "Morning Mist" Versafine Clair ink to stamp the following Lavinia Stamps:  Red Pines, Forest Scenes, Winter Magic and Snowflakes.  I've used touches of Silver Glitter Signo pen on the snowflakes.

Lavinia Stamps "Stag Snowscene" card

For this card, I was inspired by a recent card made by one of my crafting friends, Susan Bradney.

To create the sky, I have used four Lavinia Stamps "Elements Ink" colours:  Sundance, Russet Orange, Della Blue and Graphite.

I've used both the large and the smaller Lavinia Stamps "Red Pines", the "Stag"  and the "Nadolig Llawen" sentiment, which is part of the "Welsh Words" sentiment stamp set, all stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Ariel" and a dancing "Moo" Mouse

More Lavinia Stamps today, this time using "Ariel" and "Moo the mouse".

I've used a Brusho background I prepared a while back.  I have used three shades of Versafine Clair Inks:  Warm Breeze, Blue Bell and Twilight to stamp the following list of Lavinia Stamps:

  • Ariel (small)
  • Minnie & Moo
  • Red Pine (small)
  • Foliage Set
  • Fairy Wishes
I have also used Posca Pens and Gel Pens for added highlights

Lavinia Stamps "Brodwin" in the snow" Card

Another tag from me today, this time one of my own designs, featuring the Lavinia Stamp owl in flight "Brodwin".

I started using two shades of Distress Oxide Inks with the Lavinia Stamps "Ivy" stencil. Then splattered water droplets using a fan paint brush to distribute the drops, then left to dry.

I stamped both the large and small "Red Pine Tree" stamps in first and second generation stamping in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.

I then stamped "Brodwin", part of a duo owl set by Lavinia Stamps called "Brodwin and Maylin", stamped in Versafine Clair "Fallen Leaves" brown ink.

Using a Posca Pen, I splattered white droplets across the tag to simulate snow fall.

I used a Simon Says Stamp called "Tiny Words Christmas" with Versafine Clair "Fallen Leaves" brown ink.

Finally, I inked the edges of the tag, to pull the eye to the central design.
