Day 2 of "The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge". For this one, I have gone all out Funky Fossil!
I've used the Funky Fossil Designs "Heartfelt Tree Stencil" for the background. The Funky Fossil "More Furry Friends" stamp set for the dog and the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set for the sentiment.
Today the fabulous Funky Fossil Designs new clear stamp set called "Furry Friends" is available to purchase. The stamp set is designed by the super talented Donna Gray and is a stand alone but also a continuation from her origianal "Furry Friends" stamp set.
For this card, I have mult- stamped the bone along the bottom of the card, adding the dog and the sentiment above the bones, all stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I have coloured the bones and the dog with a Posca Pen and added some Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the eye and nose area.
Yey! Today the new Funky Fossil Designs "Small Print 2" clear stamp set is released. It is a fabulous set of small words and phrases that will be so handy for lots of projects.
For this card, I have used two of the new stamp sets. For the background design, I have used the ball and the bone stamps from the "More Furry Friends" stamp set, colouring the image with blue and orange Posca Pens.
I've then die cut a circle of card and multi stamped the sentiment of "How Old???", finally topping it with a circle of orange coloured card and the numbers 21 in blue card.
I'm sharing a card with you today using one of the new Funky Fossil Designs clear stamp sets, today I am previewing "Small Print 2". A fabulous set of really handy words and phrases, ideal for so many creations. "Small Print 2" will be available to purchase from 9th Aptil 2021.
I've used lots of different Funky Fossil products to create this card. Starting with the cake and sprinkles in the middle of the card, which are part of the "Cupcake Crazy" clear stamp set. Stamped in Versafine Clair "Charming Pink" ink and "Acorn" brown ink, coloured with Distress Oxide Inks.
The next layer I have used the Funky Fossil "Mini Daschunds" stencil, coloured with "Tea Dye" Distress Oxide inks. I then die cut a circle aperture in the middle of the card and adhered over the top of the cupcake background.
I then stamped the "Bring on the cake" sentiment which is part of the new "Small Print 2" clear stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Charming Pink" ink.
On a piece of white card, I stamped the dog, which is part of the new "More Furry Friends" clear stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink. I coloured the image using Distress Oxide Inks then adhered on top of the card.
Finally, I added a dot of Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the nose of the dog, so that it looks wet and added dots of "Crystal" stickles to the sprinkles background to add some extra dimension to the card.
Today, I'm previewing another brand new stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs. This one is called 'More Furry Friends" designs by Donna Gray. There are five new Funky Fossil Design stamp sets being released for sale on 9th April 2021.
I had this idea in my head for a card using the tree from the new "Heartfelt Tree" stamp set and one of the dogs from the "More Furry Friends" stamp set cocking its leg against the tree, so I decided to attempt to put it on to a card, resulting in this, which I have to say makes me smile. I especially like the fact that he is whistling while doing his business and then the sentiment of "Let it go" says it all!
For the background, I used three shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Blueprint Sketch for the sky area and Twisted Citron blended with Mowed Lawn for the lower area).
I've used four Funky Fossil stamp sets to create this card, "Heartfelt Tree", "More Furry Friends" and "Small Print 2",all brand new stamp sets and "Plant a garden" stamp set which has been available for a while.
I have stamped the images in various shades of Versafine Clair Inks, colouring with Distress Oxide Inks and Posca Pens.
