Funky Fossil Designs "Brushed Roses" Card Tutorial

Earlier today, I was playing with the Funky Fossil Designs "Brushed Roses" stencil, creating these three cards.

Because I enjoyed the process.  I decided to do a little video tutorial which you can see here.

Distress Oxide Inks:  Dried Marigold, Saltwater Taffy and Picked Raspberry 

Funky Fossil Designs "Pumpkin" stencilled card

Today I've been playing with a new stencil by Funky Fossil Designs, called "Pumpkin Trio" .  I paired the stencil with the bunny from the Funky Fossil "Critters in cups" stamp set.  Using the "Hello Sentiment Die".

I coloured the image using the new Tim Holtz Distress Water Colour Pencils and Van Goch Pastel Pencils, stamping the rabbit in Versfine Clair "Morning Mist" Grey Ink.

Funky Fossil Designs "Rotated Blockade Stencil" card

I decided to have a play with the Funky Fossil Designs "Blockade" stencil to see how I could use it other than filling the gaps with one colour. 

I picked four shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple). 

I used tape to hold the stencil in place, then used the lightest ink to fill in all the stencil gaps.  I then lifter the stencil, rotated it by a quarter and used the next shade of ink.  I did this four times till I had used the darkest shade.  

To top the card, I used the Funky Fossil "Hello Sentiment" die and adhered over the top of the stencilled background.

A quick little card this afternoon, using four shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral), spritzed with water so that the colours ran into each other.

I added a Funky Fossil "Hello" die cut sentiment and some dots of white and black Posca Pens. 

Funky Fossil Designs "Hedgehugs" Squirrel Card

Funky Fossil Designs have recently released some fab new products including a stamp set called "Hedgehugs" which include hedgehogs, squirrels autumn leaves.

I've made this card using the squirrel from the new "hedgehugs" stamp set and the trees from the Funky Fossil "Woodland Wishes" stamp set paired with the new Funky Fossil "Hello" die.
