Funky Fossil Designs new stamp launch "Snail Mail" tag

Today Funky Fossil Designs launch five fabulous new clear stamp sets.  For this sample I have used "Snail Mail". 

The "Snail Mail" stamp set is designed by the talented "Donna Gray" and consists of quirky snails and fonts, ideal for so many projects.

For my tag, I stamped the houses and snail in Versafine  Clair "Monarch" purple coloured ink and then used masking fluid over the top of the houses and left to fully dry.

Once the fluid was dry, I used three shades of Distress Oxide inks (Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Picked Raspberry) through the Funky Fossil "Abstract Bamboo" stencil .

I then rubbed off the dry masking fluid and coloured the houses and snail using Posca and Sakura pens.

I hand drew the scallops around the edge of the tag and then stamped and cut the "Special Delivery" sentiment and added a small amount of Glossy Accents to the eyes of the snail.

I made this card using the Funky Fossil Designs "Abstract Bamboo" stencil with "Shabby Shutters" Distress Oxide Ink.

I used Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink to stamp the flower and sentiment, both are part of the new Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" stamp set.  I added some sticky pearls for added interest.

Funky Fossil Designs "Face of Serenity"

With all the awful news about the Corona Virus, I took myself off for an hour of crafting this afternoon making this card.

I've used three stencils from Funky Fossil Designs.  I started by covering a piece of white card with blotches of four Distress Oxide Inks:  Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage, Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn blended into each other.

Next, over the top of the shaded green background, I used  "Hickory Smoke" Distress Oxide Ink through the Funky Fossil "Abstract Bamboo" stencil.

I used low tack masking tape to secure the Funky Fossil "Face Of Serenity" stencil in position.  I then used a spatula to apply That's Crafty Black Texture Paste through the stencil.  I carefully lifted the stencil off the card and set aside to dry while I washed the residue paste off the stencil.

Once dry, I then used the Funky Fossil "Micro Dots" stencil with "Evergreen Bough" Distress Oxide ink.

Finally around the edges and deeper in the corner I blended "Chipped Sapphire" Distress Oxide.  I edged the card in black Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink
