Funky Fossil New Stamp Set "Heartfelt Tree" preview 2

This is my second sample using the new "Heartfelt Tree" clear stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs, which will be available to purchase on the 9th April, release day.

For this eclipse style card, I have stamped the images in assorted colours of Versafine Clair inks (Verdant, Shady Lane, Blue Belle and Glamorous).  I then stamped the quote in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

I've painted the images using assorted shades of Distress Oxide Inks.

I then rearranged the alphabet dies to spell the word "Home" across the stamped area, securing in place with some low tack masking tape, then ran it through the big shot.

I backed the stamped/die cut card onto a deep pink card and then adhered the die cut letters into position using foam pads which give the 3D look to the card.

Another Eclipse Card

This afternoon I have made another eclipse card with the name "Megan" across the middle.

I have used the Art Impressions "Giant Cake - U4386" stamp from their "Girlfriends" collection, coloured with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from a Papermania stamp set called "Tea Cups".

Male Birthday Eclipse Card

I'm getting a feel for these eclipse cards now, so I made one for Liam who will be celebrating his birthday next week.

I've realised they are not easy to take photographs of, they have to be at an angle to see the word across the middle of the card.

I used patterned paper with a red background for this eclipse card, mounted on black card, it gives a nod to the colours of his favourite footie team Manchester United.

The banner at the top was stamped using a Papertrey Ink stamp from their "Movers & Shakers" set.  I then die cut it into a banner using the Stampin' Up "Banner Framelits".  The "Congrats" is a die cut using a die from the Stampin' Up die set called "Sunshine Wishes".

Mother's Day Eclipse Card

Well Mother's Day has crept up on me, so I thought I'd better get a card made for my Mother-in-law.  I decided to make an eclipse card.

There was a lot of stamping to make this card.  For each rose on the background there were three separate stamps used and then each leaf was stamped separately too.  I used the Stampin' Up "Swirly Bird" stamp set to create the rose background.

Using 5cm thin dies, I positioned and then cut the word "Mum".    I placed a piece of co-ordinating card below the die cut area then returned the die cut letters into their original places using foam pads to elevate them.

The two flowers above and below the word are die cuts using Spellbinders "Timeless Heart Tectured Flowers" die set.
