Tracy Evans Boutique Desgins "Mistletoe TE19" Gold and Red Dot Artist Trading Card

This is my Artist Trading Card (ATC) for the day.  I used a piece of green card with narrow stripes on it for the base. I used the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe TE19" stamp set, to. stamp the bunch of mistletoe and the sentiment, using Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" green ink.

In the background.  I added gold coloured Posca Pen dots.  I used a red fine liner pen to circle the dots then added a red central dot of Posca Pen. On the mistletoe itself, I used a white gel pen for high lights and a gold shimmer pen for the mistletoe berries to add a bit of sparkle.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe" Christmas Card

Another night of disturbed sleep, so I decided to get up and craft, making this card.

I used a background from my stash that I had made a couple of years ago, by using Distress Oxide Inks on a striped stencil, then upturning the stencil on to a piece of card and printing the stripes.  Sorry, I don't recall the colours I used,

I then used two shades of Ranger Archival Inks through the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Snippet Stencil Heart - SS12".  The shades of inks are Vibrant Fuchsia, edging the heart in Cactus Flower inks.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the Mistletoe, which is from the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe - TE19" stamp set.

Finally, using a gold coloured gel pen to add dots to the heart and to highlight areas of the mistletoe itself.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe" Christmas Card

Rummaging through my file of backgrounds, I came across a small piece of card with Brusho paint on it, which I thought would lend itself well to a Christmas card.  It was mainly red, with some touches of yellow and green on it.

I used Wow! Clear Embossing Ink with the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe -TE19" stamp with Wow! Rich Gold Embossing Powder and heat set the mistletoe and the sentiment.

I mounted the piece on to dark red card and then on to a white card blank.
