Another night of disturbed sleep, so I decided to get up and craft, making this card.
I used a background from my stash that I had made a couple of years ago, by using Distress Oxide Inks on a striped stencil, then upturning the stencil on to a piece of card and printing the stripes. Sorry, I don't recall the colours I used,
I then used two shades of Ranger Archival Inks through the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Snippet Stencil Heart - SS12". The shades of inks are Vibrant Fuchsia, edging the heart in Cactus Flower inks.
I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the Mistletoe, which is from the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Mistletoe - TE19" stamp set.
Finally, using a gold coloured gel pen to add dots to the heart and to highlight areas of the mistletoe itself.
This heart and mistletoe against the background stripes makes an adorable card, and I love the contrast with the pretty pinky yellow stripes and bright pink for the heart and some great added penwork too Sam. x
