While in Tesco this morning, I spotted some beautiful paper napkins/ serviettes with nature images on them. I had to buy them as the images would be great for a decoupage project. Obviously, I had to buy them!
Once home, it was time to make my Artist Trading Card (ATC) for the day, so I set about cutting out some of the images and layering them on to a white ATC card covered in glue. Once in position, I added a little bit of "Antique Linen" Distress Oxide Ink with a brush to tie in all the pieces.
I used a white Posca Pen to highlight areas on the toadstools and berries, then added a Lavinia Stamps word sticker saying "nature", finally adding dots of "Avocado" liquid pearls over the surface of the ATC.
The napkin design with the various fungi, leaves, cones and acorns is perfect for this time of year and I love the way you have made an interesting scene by layering the brown ones with the red fly agaric and added in some of the red berries. I decided to comment on this ATC as I love it and will be on the lookout for these napkins when I next visit Tesco. x
ReplyDeleteP.S. When I get up to date with the cards I will go back and start on the ATC's which I have seen as I've gone through and they all deserve a mention. You have done so much creative work and I did give you a mention when I put up my CASEing of your beautiful anniversary card just yesterday, and I linked to the post. x
Thanks Pat. I appreciate all your comments and totally understand it's not easy to keep up. Hope you find the napkins x
