I've been playing with a Stampin' up stamp set to make this card. I used their "Wetlands" rubber cling stamp set with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" ink to stamp the wading birds.
I then used four shades of Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a paint brush to colour the image. The shades of ink I used are: Tumbled Glass, Speckled Egg, Broken China and Antique Linen.
I used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" again to stamp the sentiment, which is part of a Simon Says Stamp set called "Tiny Words".
This is a wonderful scene you made as a background for these sweet little birds..I think they're oyster catchers but I could be wrong. This has a beautifu tranquil look and I love the the soft washy tones...perfect! x
