Today, is Day 56 of the 100 Day Project 2026. A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice. Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.
For my Day 56, I used three shades of smooshed Distress Oxide Inks to create the background colour. The shades of ink I used are: Salvaged Patina, Broken China and Mowed Lawn.
I used Versafine Clair "Adriatic Sea" blue ink to stamp the Funky Fossil Designs floral stamp from the "Hello Gorgeous" stamp set. I stamped it again on white card, fussy cutting elements of it and over stamping one of the flowers using the Funky Fossil "Vintage Script" stamp.
I added colour using "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink and a gold and glue glitter pen along with a white acrylic paint pen. Finally adding a swallow from a Dina Wakley collage paper set.
This is such a pretty effect, and you are more than half way through the challenge already. The dimension of the flowers with the added stamped script looks great and the added collage paper bird in black really pops Sam. I am sorry to have missed so many of your posts as hubby and I have been away visiting our son in Australia for just over a month. I am still getting back into the swing of things at the moment. x
